About the role
Tile Town is seeking a highly organized Office Assistant to support the Controller at its Head Office. The role blends administrative duties with core accounting functions, ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers in a fast‑paced retail environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processing.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records.
- Support daily accounting and bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online.
- Reconcile invoices, statements, and supporting documentation.
- Prepare reports and spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel.
- Create and edit documents using Microsoft Word.
- Handle filing, record management, and various administrative projects.
- Provide general administrative support to the Controller and Head Office team.
Required profile
- Previous office administration or accounting experience.
- Strong data‑entry accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Self‑motivated, independent worker with a positive attitude.
