Occupational Health & Safety Manager

About the role

The Occupational Health & Safety Manager will lead safety initiatives on construction sites, ensuring daily operations comply with health regulations and company standards. This role combines policy development, training oversight, and incident reporting to protect workers and maintain a safe work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate daily construction operations for safety compliance.
• Establish, implement, and continuously improve safety policies and procedures.
• Manage training and development programs for site personnel.
• Oversee preparation and submission of safety reports.
• Assess work environments and programs to eliminate or prevent injuries and illnesses.

Required profile

• College, CEGEP or equivalent non‑university certificate/diploma (3 months to < 1 year) or comparable experience.
• 2 to less than 3 years of experience in occupational health and safety, preferably in construction.
• Ability to start on the posted start date.
• Proficiency in English (or French) as required by the posting.
