Night Dock Worker

About the role

Manitoulin Transport, part of the Manitoulin Group of Companies, is hiring a night dock worker in London. The company operates an extensive transportation network across North America and relies on experienced drivers and terminal staff to deliver freight reliably and on time. Typical hours are 01:00 to 09:30, Tuesday to Saturday.

Key responsibilities

• Loading and unloading inbound and outbound trailers
• Distributing freight to P&D drivers
• Documenting overages, shortages and damages
• Reweighing and cubing freight
• Moving and sorting freight
• Keeping the yard and warehouse clean
• Heavy lifting may be required

Required profile

• Valid driver's licence
• Able to work well with others and take direction
• Able to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment
• Able to solve problems when they arise

Required skills

• Forklift experience
• Ability to follow health and safety and company policies
