Nido Assistant – Early Childhood (0‑18 months)

About the role
The Nido Assistant supports the Montessori classroom for infants aged 0‑18 months, helping create a nurturing and developmentally appropriate environment. You will work closely with the lead teacher to ensure each child’s natural potential is respected and fostered.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher in preparing and maintaining the infant classroom.
- Observe and document each child’s developmental milestones.
- Support daily routines such as feeding, nap time, and hygiene.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment.
- Facilitate smooth transitions between activities and communicate observations to parents.
Required profile
- A genuine love and appreciation for the natural potential of children aged 0‑6.
- Understanding of the developmental growth process for infants.
- Montessori Teaching Diploma (AMI/MACTE) or Orientation Certificate (AMI).
- Minimum one year of experience working with children.
- Clear criminal record and current First Aid certification.
Required skills
- Knowledge of Montessori teaching methods for early childhood.
- First Aid competency.
