Motel Managing Supervisor

About the role

The Motel Managing Supervisor oversees daily operations at the Courtyard Inn Vernon, ensuring guests receive high‑quality service and that the property runs smoothly. Reporting to management, this role combines hands‑on supervision of staff with coordination of resources and maintenance activities. The supervisor will also manage inventory, coordinate repairs, and support guests with special needs.

Key responsibilities

• Perform the same duties as the staff you supervise, ensuring consistent service standards.
• Assist guests with special needs, providing personalized support and accommodations.
• Coordinate, assign, and review work schedules for the team.
• Maintain operation of computer systems, equipment and machinery, arranging repairs to keep services uninterrupted.
• Requisition necessary materials and supplies to support daily hotel operations.

Required profile

• Hold a secondary school graduation certificate (high school diploma) as minimum education.
• Have between 1 and less than 2 years of experience in hotel, motel or resort environments.
• Supervise a small team of 1‑2 employees, providing guidance and performance feedback.
• Available to work both morning and evening shifts according to operational needs.
