Mobile Software Developer

About the role

Autodesk is looking for a Mobile Software Developer to join the Forma Data Management team. You will help build and enhance a construction records management platform that enables field collaboration on iOS and Android devices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop polished, reliable features for iOS and Android mobile apps.
• Implement offline synchronization and data consistency mechanisms.
• Contribute to a shared Kotlin/Native library used across both platforms.
• Create responsive UI components that handle complex data models.
• Support other feature teams by providing foundational mobile solutions.

Required profile

• B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 0–2 years of professional or substantial academic software development experience.
• Demonstrated track record such as an internship, shipped app, capstone project, or open‑source contribution.
• Experience with either Android (Kotlin) or iOS (Swift); willingness to grow on the other platform.
• Comfort working in an Agile/Scrum environment and participating in code reviews.

Required skills

• Kotlin (Android) and/or Swift (iOS).
• Jetpack Compose or classic Android UI frameworks.
• SwiftUI or UIKit.
• Reactive/async patterns: RxJava, Kotlin Flow, Coroutines.
• Kotlin Multiplatform (preferred).
• SQLite / Room for local persistence.
• Git, continuous integration concepts.
• Agile/Scrum methodology.
