Mobile Software Developer (iOS & Android)

About the role

Autodesk is looking for a Mobile Software Developer to join the Forma Data Management team. You will deliver polished iOS and Android features that enable field collaboration on construction projects, and gradually own offline sync and shared cross‑platform logic.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement tools that streamline communication and collaboration on construction sites.
• Develop synchronization mechanisms that allow users to work and edit data offline.
• Contribute to a shared Kotlin/Native library used across iOS and Android.
• Build responsive, data‑rich mobile features supporting complex user interactions.
• Provide foundational components that other feature teams can extend.

Required profile

• B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 0–2 years of professional or academic software development experience with at least one shipped app, internship, capstone or open‑source contribution.
• Solid foundation in either Android (Kotlin) or iOS (Swift) development; willingness to grow on the other platform.
• Ability to work with a global team that meets 6‑7 pm PST M‑Th.

Required skills

• Kotlin (Android) and/or Swift (iOS).
• Jetpack Compose or classic Android UI; SwiftUI or UIKit.
• Reactive/async patterns such as RxJava, Kotlin Flow, Coroutines.
• Kotlin Multiplatform / Kotlin‑Native.
• SQLite / Room for local persistence.
• Git, code review and CI concepts.
• Agile/Scrum experience.
