Mobile Developer – Connectivity & App Development

About the role

BRP is seeking a highly skilled Mobile Developer to join its Connectivity Innovation team in Montreal. You will work on end‑to‑end mobile solutions for vehicle owners, covering both Android and iOS platforms as well as the supporting back‑end services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain native and hybrid mobile applications for Android (Kotlin) and iOS (Swift).
• Design and implement back‑end services, including APIs and database integrations.
• Integrate vehicle hardware APIs using Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi protocols.
• Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, and other engineering teams to improve user experience.
• Write automated tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Participate in the full product lifecycle: discovery, planning, development, delivery, and production support.

Required profile

• Strong experience in either Android (Kotlin) or iOS (Swift) development.
• Familiarity with native‑hybrid frameworks such as Kotlin‑Multiplatform.
• Hands‑on experience with Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi communication.
• Good understanding of relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB).
• Knowledge of REST and GraphQL API design.
• Experience with Azure cloud services is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English or French.
