About the role

The Mining Engineering Internship supports underground operations at the Diavik Diamond Mine, Canada’s premier diamond mine. The role is embedded in a safety‑first, sustainable environment that delivers world‑class diamonds and contributes to local community benefits. You will work on‑site during a two‑weeks‑on, two‑weeks‑off FIFO schedule from May to August 2025, gaining hands‑on experience in a proven underground and surface mining setting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist mining engineers with daily underground operational tasks.
• Participate in the FIFO rotation, spending two weeks on‑site and two weeks off.
• Support the mine’s safety initiatives and sustainable practices.
• Observe and learn award‑winning mining processes at a world‑class diamond operation.
