Methods Project Manager – Manufacturing

About the role

The Methods Project Manager will drive technical solutions and continuous‑improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment. You will act as a bridge between shop‑floor teams, support functions, and management to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze operational needs and propose tailored technical solutions.
• Lead or support technical projects, overseeing planning, follow‑up, and coordination.
• Develop and optimise work methods, operational standards, and coordination processes.
• Serve as the liaison between shop‑floor teams, support functions, and management.
• Identify continuous‑improvement opportunities and recommend sustainable corrective actions.
• Produce and maintain clear, structured documentation for operations.
• Provide expertise on complex technical matters and support the team as needed.
• Assist in the coordination and continuity of team activities.

Required profile

• College diploma (DEC) in engineering or a related discipline.
• Significant experience in a manufacturing setting, work methods, technical coordination, or project management.
• Ability to quickly grasp technical, operational, and manufacturing challenges.
• Strong communication, organisational, and priority‑management skills.
• Proactive attitude with the capacity to take on broader responsibilities over time.
• Demonstrated analytical, problem‑solving, and prioritisation abilities.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office suite.
• Knowledge of ERP or manufacturing systems (asset).
