Meter Technician

About the role

Metergy Solutions Inc. is seeking a Meter Technician to support the installation, programming and commissioning of utility meters across its growing portfolio of multi‑residential and commercial buildings. The role is based in Markham, Ontario and is unionized under Unifor Local 975.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with inspection of meter installations for electricity, water, gas and thermal meters.
• Provide programming support for all Metergy meters.
• Commission thermal, water and electrical meters that are not covered by standard S‑E‑04 procedures.
• Install and terminate communication wiring, including Phone/Ethernet, RS‑485 and low‑voltage cabling.

Required profile

• Union member of Unifor Local 975.
• Ability to work on‑site in the Markham area.
