Medical Science Liaison – Hematology Oncology (Quebec)

About the role

AbbVie is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) specialized in Hematology Oncology to support its Medical Affairs team in Quebec. The MSL will act as a scientific bridge between AbbVie and external experts, providing up‑to‑date medical information and fostering collaborative relationships. The position covers the Quebec territory and involves interaction with investigators, academic centres, and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scientific knowledge in hematology‑oncology to enable credible information dissemination.
• Build and nurture professional relationships with external experts (EEs) and healthcare professionals (HCPs).
• Respond to scientific and medical inquiries from EEs and internal teams.
• Participate in and follow‑up on investigator‑initiated studies, clinical studies, and medical projects within the therapeutic area.
• Provide scientific support and maintain relationships with academic centres.
• Deliver credible presentations on scientific topics to individual HCPs or groups.
• Assist in selecting qualified HCPs for collaborative activities such as advisory boards, congresses, and symposiums.

Required profile

• Strong scientific background in hematology and oncology.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with external experts and healthcare professionals.
• Experience delivering scientific presentations to individual or group audiences.
