Medical Information Associate

About the role

We are seeking a Medical Information Associate to join a patient‑focused healthcare and pharmaceutical support environment in Canada. The role combines scientific expertise with compassionate communication to provide accurate medical information, pharmacovigilance support, and product‑related guidance to patients, healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to medical information inquiries in English and French via written and verbal channels, using approved product information, FAQs and scientific literature.
• Document and manage all requests in designated databases, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Identify, document and escalate adverse events, drug reactions, device incidents and product quality complaints within required timelines.
• Support pharmacovigilance activities including case intake, triage, data entry, coding, narrative writing, medical evaluation and regulatory reporting.
• Maintain and update product information resources, standard response letters and medical documentation databases.
• Conduct literature reviews and generate reports, KPI summaries and audit‑related documentation for clients and project stakeholders.
• Serve as a primary contact point for clients, providing professional communication and service excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in a healthcare‑related discipline.
• Fluency in both English and French with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced, highly regulated environment.
