Mechanical Project Coordinator

About the role

Our Ottawa team is growing and is seeking a full‑time Mechanical Project Coordinator who is skilled, detail‑oriented and result‑focused. The role supports institutional and industrial projects, handling planning, organizing, coordinating and technical workflow for electrical and mechanical construction work, reporting directly to the Project Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager to ensure project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards align with company policy and contract specifications.
• Help plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones, monitoring progress against established timelines.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers and vendors; prepare progress reports and issue schedules to clients.
• Coordinate trades and subcontractors, manage document control, and purchase supplies and materials required for project completion.
• Ensure site operations comply with health, safety and environmental standards.
