Mechanical Engineer – Renewable Energy

About the role

Innergex énergie renouvelable inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the design, operation and performance of renewable power plant mechanisms and systems. The role involves research, project planning and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams in a fast‑paced, urban environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility research and design of power plant machinery, components and systems.
• Prepare material, cost and timing estimates, reports and design specifications.
• Develop contract documents, evaluate tenders and manage procurement for industrial construction or maintenance.
• Assess business opportunities, create strategies and prepare project schedules.
• Deliver lectures, presentations and assist in operating and investment budget preparation.
• Perform environmental impact studies and ensure compliance with safety and security requirements.

Required profile

• Accurate, organized and reliable with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Team player able to multitask under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
