Mechanical Design Engineer – HVAC & Systems

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to conduct research into the feasibility, design, operation and performance of mechanisms, components and systems. The position is based in Edmonton, offering a fast‑paced environment with flexible hours and the possibility of transitioning to a full‑time role.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct research into feasibility, design, operation and performance of mechanical mechanisms, components and systems.
• Lead design projects, including HVAC system design and construction coordination.
• Deliver work under tight deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in mechanical design engineering.
• Accurate, organized, and able to multitask under pressure.
• Valid driver’s licence and own transportation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Windows operating system.
• Project management experience.
