Material Management Specialist

About the role

The Material Management Specialist supports PERI Canada’s material planning, sourcing, steering and distribution activities. The role ensures material availability aligns with customer demand while contributing to cost‑efficiency and business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Support national S&OP and S&OE processes through data preparation, coordination and active participation.
• Monitor and report delivery performance, material availability and asset‑management KPIs.
• Assist with inventory planning, material allocation and stock optimisation to meet operational and customer demand.
• Coordinate material exchanges within Canada and with other subsidiaries, supporting global order processes and claims handling.
• Track investments through the Digital Approval Process (DAP) and ensure alignment with S&OP plans.
• Contribute to rental‑park performance tracking, lifecycle monitoring and portfolio optimisation.
• Ensure adherence to group standards and guidelines in day‑to‑day operations.
• Support performance and cost optimisation initiatives, including inventory and rental‑park optimisation.
• Coordinate transportation activities to enable timely material movement between yards and customer sites.
• Collaborate closely with regional and global teams to maintain efficient material flow.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2‑4 years of experience in material management, supply chain, logistics or inventory management.
• Relevant logistics or inventory certifications (e.g., CPIM, CSCP, P.Log) are an asset.
• Strong collaboration skills and a commitment to continuous learning.
