Material Handler – Manufacturing Plant

About the role

Cardinal Health is looking for a positive and experienced Material Handler to join its Gananoque manufacturing plant on a 2‑2‑3 work week. The role ensures the orderly movement and accurate inventory of raw materials and finished goods within the facility.

Key responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections of incoming and outgoing materials for damage.
• Move materials using forklifts, PITs, conveyors, handcarts and power trucks according to production requirements.
• Record material movements in the ERP system and maintain accurate inventory locations.
• Maintain housekeeping and stage raw or finished goods in designated inventory areas.
• Follow standard operating procedures, quality guidelines and safety protocols.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of related experience, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
• Valid forklift license or prior forklift experience (asset).
• Ability to work 12‑hour shifts on a rotating 2‑2‑3 schedule.

Required skills

• Forklift operation.
• Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) handling.
• Proficiency with ERP systems for inventory tracking.
