Class 1 Driver – Frac Sand Hauling (2026)

About the role

We’re seeking experienced Class 1 Truck Drivers to join our roster for an upcoming project hauling Frac Sand in Grande Prairie, AB. The position includes paid training and driver evaluations in Red Deer, with work starting in January 2026 on a multi‑year schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize proper PPE for loading and off‑loading product.
• Complete daily accurate pre‑inspections and post‑inspections, regulatory logs and timesheets.
• Ensure information on the Bill of Lading is correct.
• Ensure electronic logs align with Federal regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years commercial driving experience in Canada.
• Oilfield/off‑road driving experience.
• Super‑b or tri‑quad experience.
• Drivers abstract with no more than 6 demerits and no impaired driving convictions.
• Must know how to use tire chains.
• Polite and professional attitude with a high regard for safety.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Valid Class 1 driver’s licence and a current 5‑year commercial drivers abstract.
• Standard First Aid & CPR – Level C (AB & BC) with BC endorsement.
• H2S Alive certification.
• Common Safety Orientation (CSO) certification.

Required skills

• Proficiency with an 18‑speed manual transmission.
• Ability to install and use tire chains.
