About the role
Champion Petfoods, an award-winning pet food manufacturer founded in Alberta, Canada, is hiring a Master Data & Analytics Lead for its supply chain. It works from the corporate office in Edmonton on a hybrid schedule with 3 days in person.
Key responsibilities
- Own the Infor M3 assortment table: manage SKU additions, deletions and lifecycle status in line with regulatory eligibility rules and product launch timelines.
- Keep data synchronized and error-free from M3 to downstream channels (Magento, EDI, regional upload portals).
- Lead master data configuration for new product introductions and cross-border expansions.
- Contribute to the Master Data Governance Committee, setting data quality standards, audit controls and change-management protocols.
- Design, maintain and distribute KPI dashboards for Case Fill Rate (CSL) and On-Time In Full (OTIF).
- Run multi-variable root-cause analysis on operational failures across warehousing, transportation and production, and turn findings into improvement recommendations.
- Lead UAT and system validation from staging to production, and validate order-to-cash transactions across credit, master data, warehousing and invoicing.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in master data management, supply chain data analytics or business systems analysis, preferably in CPG, food manufacturing or FMCG.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and clear communication with PMO, Regulatory Affairs, IT, Finance and Customer Experience.
- Analytical mindset with proven root-cause problem solving and process optimization.
Required skills
- Hands-on ERP experience (Infor M3 strongly preferred, or SAP / Oracle)
- Knowledge of EDI and eCommerce data flows (e.g. Magento)
- Advanced Excel (Power Query, data modeling, pivot tables) and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau or similar)
What we offer
- Competitive salary and RRSP with company matching
- Medical, dental, vision and employee assistance programs
- In-house and online learning, plus an education assistance program
- Free bag of premium pet food each month, free parking and more
