Marketing Manager – Canada

About the role

Sezzle is seeking a Marketing Manager for the Canadian market to lead user and merchant acquisition, drive active user growth, and increase revenue. This individual contributor will operate in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment, leveraging data‑driven strategies and AI‑enabled tools to maximize marketing efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Own user and merchant acquisition targets for Canada, designing and executing campaigns to meet them.
• Drive active user growth through lifecycle marketing, re‑engagement programs, and personalized communications.
• Develop revenue‑focused initiatives that boost transaction volume, basket size, and merchant GMV.
• Identify high‑efficiency channels (paid, organic, partner, referral) and optimize spend against CAC and ROI goals.
• Utilize AI tools for content creation, audience segmentation, and campaign ideation at scale.
• Partner with Sezzle retailers on co‑marketing efforts to generate joint consumer acquisition and merchant revenue.
• Build and maintain analytics frameworks to track, measure, and report acquisition, engagement, and revenue KPIs.

Required profile

• 5+ years of progressive marketing experience with a proven record of driving user acquisition and revenue growth.
• Analytically rigorous, data‑driven mindset with the ability to set clear growth targets.
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating across Strategic Partnerships, Sales, Merchant Success, and Product teams.
• Experience thriving in a fast‑paced, matrixed organization.
