Marine Fitter / Welder (Rotational)

About the role

We are seeking experienced Marine Fitters/Welders to join our crew on the MV Isabelle X and Saga‑Company vessels operating out of Squamish, BC. This rotational, three‑year position involves maintaining and upgrading the mechanical and structural systems of a floatel to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and replacements of mechanical and structural components on the vessel.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment malfunctions, documenting all activities.
• Assist with the installation, alignment, and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
• Execute welding, cutting, and fabrication tasks according to engineering drawings and industry standards.
• Adhere to safety protocols, use personal protective equipment, and report hazards.
• Collaborate closely with the engineering team to ensure quality and compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in marine or industrial fitting and welding.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Commitment to safety and ability to work in a rotational schedule.
