Manufacturing Technical Operator

About the role

Riverside Natural Foods Ltd. is seeking a Manufacturing Technical Operator to join its fast‑paced food production team. You will be responsible for operating, maintaining and troubleshooting production machinery while ensuring product quality and safety in a B‑Corp certified environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automated or semi‑automated production equipment according to SOPs.
• Perform equipment set‑up, calibration, and changeovers.
• Conduct in‑process quality checks to verify product specifications.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues, make adjustments or repairs, and escalate major problems to maintenance.
• Carry out basic preventative maintenance and routine cleaning to minimise downtime.
• Complete production logs, downtime reports and other required documentation accurately.
• Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams on complex equipment issues.
• Adhere to health and safety standards, GMP, and company policies.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement activities, shift handovers and training of new staff.

Required profile

• Experience operating automated or semi‑automated production machinery in a food manufacturing setting.
• Ability to perform equipment set‑up, calibration, changeovers and basic mechanical adjustments.
• Familiarity with GMP, health‑and‑safety practices and documentation procedures.
• Willingness to work on‑site in a full‑time capacity and support continuous‑improvement initiatives.
