Manufacturing Process Engineer

About the role

Riverside Natural Foods Ltd. is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to design, develop, and improve production processes that enhance safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency while reducing waste. The role involves hands‑on work on the shop floor and collaboration with cross‑functional teams to drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and centerlines.
• Support day‑to‑day performance improvements such as speed increases, yield gains, scrap reduction, and labor efficiency.
• Collaborate with R&D, project engineering, quality, and maintenance to resolve production issues.
• Conduct process audits, identify improvement opportunities, and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor and analyze production data to recommend process optimizations.
• Lead Kaizen events and create value‑stream maps, bottleneck analyses, and loss Pareto charts.
• Apply statistical process control (SPC) and other quality tools to improve process performance.

Required profile

• Strong on‑the‑floor presence with technical aptitude for equipment operation.
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions and lead improvement initiatives.
• Data‑driven mindset with experience analyzing production metrics.
• Commitment to staying current on industry trends, technology advances, and regulatory requirements.
