Manager

About the role

The Manager will lead a sizable sales or operations segment and a specialized support sub‑function within Desjardins. You will be accountable for shaping the unit’s service offering, executing its business plan, and aligning activities with the broader administrative strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the immediate supervisor with work organization, operational planning, and special initiatives.
• Develop, implement, and monitor the unit’s action plan to ensure strategic alignment and performance management.
• Establish management and communication practices that promote change management, talent attraction, retention, skill development, employee engagement, and diversity in line with Desjardins values.
• Define and oversee service‑related activities, ensuring projects deliver targeted business results and high member/client satisfaction.
• Manage individual and team performance to support the administrative unit’s objectives.
• Continuously improve processes under your responsibility.
• Represent Desjardins, promote its cooperative values, and conduct business intelligence activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• At least nine years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of qualifications and experience).
• Fluency in French is required.
• Strong business insight, decision‑making quality, and ability to direct work and build networks.
