Manager, Digital Learning Support

About the role

The Manager, Digital Learning Support leads the operational delivery of UBC Sauder’s learning technology ecosystem. This role ensures that digital tools and instructional strategies effectively support teaching excellence across campus locations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the day‑to‑day operation of the learning technology ecosystem (LTE) used for teaching and learning.
• Coordinate communication, planning, and support for digital teaching initiatives.
• Provide training, troubleshooting, and expertise on digital instructional strategies, tools, and assessments.
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, and institutional partners to implement and improve digital learning solutions.
• Maintain documentation and reporting on system performance and user satisfaction.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience managing learning technology services in a higher‑education environment.
• Strong understanding of digital instructional design and assessment methods.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative academic setting.

Required skills

• Experience with learning management systems and related digital platforms.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting technical issues related to instructional technology.
• Knowledge of data‑driven decision‑making for educational services.
