Maintenance Staff Assistant

About the role

Are you an energetic individual who enjoys working in the construction and maintenance sector? Colpitts Developments is seeking a Maintenance Staff Assistant to support a team of hard‑working maintenance technicians for one of Fredericton’s largest developers.

Key responsibilities

• Support scheduling of maintenance technicians responding to tenant repair requests.
• Assist building superintendents in preparing apartments for new tenants.
• Purchase supplies from local stores for the maintenance crew.
• Review supplier invoices for approval and payment.
• Process maintenance staff time sheets for payroll.
• Log and track new appliances for dwelling units.
• Maintain inventory of appliance parts.
• Perform simple maintenance tasks as required.

Required profile

• Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both cooperatively and independently.
• Results‑oriented problem‑solving and decision‑making.
• Finance and budget management expertise.
• Quick learner with flexibility to adapt to change.
