Part‑Time Yard Associate – Retail Store

About the role

As a Yard Associate you will maintain the highest standards of safety, service and merchandising. The role is physical, requiring standing, walking and lifting throughout the shift.

Key responsibilities

• Provide welcoming, attentive customer service, greet customers, answer questions and support checkout and delivery arrangements.
• Maintain strong in‑store standards by supporting inventory counts, restocking shelves and keeping merchandise clean and organized.
• Learn about new products and participate in department training to better assist customers.
• Work safely by following all workplace safety procedures and keeping the environment hazard‑free.
• Assist with basic paperwork such as invoices and delivery documentation.
• Use the store’s computer system to keep inventory accurate when receiving or removing items.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Sales and customer‑service experience.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lb.
• Willingness to work rotating days, evenings and weekends.
• Ability to learn and operate the D365 computer system.
• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent (asset).
• Bilingual French/English (asset).
