Maintenance Specialist

About the role

Chrysos is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to provide hands‑on technical support for its PhotonAssay™ equipment. This permanent full‑time position is based in Val D'Or, QC and operates on a rotating roster.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled monthly maintenance and respond quickly to breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Provide technical support via phone, email and remote login, both during and outside office hours as required.
• Liaise with headquarters and the Chinese technology partner, and train customers on safe operation and maintenance.
• Manage spares inventory, complete documentation, and feed back information to customers.
• Assist with installation, commissioning, fault record preparation, root‑cause analysis and continuous improvement of maintenance processes.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience maintaining technical equipment, preferably in mining or mineral processing.
• Safety‑focused mindset with strong customer‑service orientation.
• Willingness to travel across Canada and overseas, with valid work rights and a driver’s licence.
• College diploma in mechatronics or a related electrical/electronic/mechanical discipline.
