Long Haul Truck Driver – Full-Time

About the role

Join JP & RS Transport Inc. as a long haul truck driver operating across various locations from Edmonton. You will work as part of a two‑person team or convoy, transporting goods safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Drive straight or articulated trucks on long‑distance routes.
• Load and unload goods, tarp and secure cargo.
• Record cargo details, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
• Handle payments for goods and address customer complaints or concerns.
• Relay information to central dispatch and maintain accurate driver logbooks.
• Ensure safety, security and compliance with accident/incident reporting.

Required profile

• 2 to less than 3 years of relevant driving experience.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle heavy loads.
• Physically demanding work with prolonged sitting periods.
• Flexibility, good judgement, organization and reliability.
• Team‑player attitude and strong work ethic.

Required skills

• Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
