Long Haul Truck Driver – Flatbed, No Experience Required

About the role
We are seeking a reliable long‑haul truck driver to operate flatbed trucks, transporting goods across long distances from our Abbotsford base. No prior experience is required as we provide full training.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and adjust routes using GPS and computer systems to minimise fuel use and emissions.
- Load, secure, tarp and unload flatbed cargo, including dangerous goods.
- Conduct pre‑trip, en‑route and post‑trip inspections, including brakes, tires, lights and cold‑storage equipment.
- Perform emergency roadside repairs and brake adjustments as needed.
- Record cargo details, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation.
- Valid Class 1 (or A) driver’s licence with Air Brakes endorsement.
- Ability to work evenings, mornings, days and weekends as required.
- Willingness to support newcomers, refugees, youth and Indigenous communities.
Required skills
- Air Brakes Endorsement.
- Class 1 Driver’s Licence.
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and basic computer equipment.
