Logistics Coordinator – Dispatch Operations

About the role

Pal Transport is seeking a full‑time Logistics Coordinator to join its Edmonton team. In this on‑site dispatch role you will ensure loads are scheduled, assigned and monitored so drivers, routes and equipment are optimized for safe, on‑time deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule, assign and track loads using dispatch and transportation management systems.
• Communicate with drivers, customers and internal teams to resolve issues and provide real‑time shipment updates.
• Enter accurate data, maintain records and generate basic reports as required.
• Handle incoming calls and messages, prioritize tasks and manage multiple requests while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Required profile

• Proven dispatch or load‑coordination experience, preferably in trucking or logistics.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills for interacting with drivers, clients and colleagues.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and adapt to changing demands.
• High attention to detail, reliability and a commitment to safety and compliance.
• Willingness to work full‑time, including occasional extended hours or shifts as needed.
