Locum Physician – Greater Napanee Health Home

About the role

The Locum Physician will lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality, comprehensive primary care for clients in the Greater Napanee Health Home, emphasizing culturally appropriate and harm‑reduction‑oriented services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary health care to clients using a client‑centred approach that addresses social determinants of health.
• Share on‑call duties, collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, and coordinate referrals to consultants, hospitals and e‑consult services.
• Submit billing information, develop and monitor medical protocols, and participate in quality‑improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate client records in the GNHH charting system and supervise medical students and residents.

Required profile

• Certification in Family Medicine (CCFP) and registration in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
• Experience with quality‑improvement initiatives (preferred).
• Ability to work regularly and meet the physical demands of a clinical setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using an Electronic Medical Record system, preferably PS Suite.
