About the role
Big Bear is hiring two full‑time Liquor Cashiers for its Whitehorse location. You will interact directly with customers, ensuring a friendly experience while responsibly serving alcoholic beverages.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and serve customers at the point of sale, handling cash and debit transactions on a POS system.
- Stock shelves, receive inventory deliveries, and maintain a clean, sanitary work area.
- Apply Smart Serve guidelines to identify under‑age or intoxicated patrons and refuse service politely.
- Maintain accurate cash handling and adhere to store policies.
- Provide a friendly, welcoming attitude to all customers.
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment.
Required profile
- Reliable and able to work 35‑40 hours per week.
- Must be at least 19 years old.
- Capable of serving vulnerable populations responsibly.
