About the role
The Dining Room Manager will lead daily operations of our restaurant in Whitehorse, ensuring a profitable and high‑quality guest experience. You will be responsible for budgeting, staff supervision, and maintaining health‑ and safety standards while delivering excellent service.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze and develop budgets for food, beverages, supplies and labour to maximise profit.
- Monitor daily revenues, control costs and evaluate operational performance.
- Recruit, schedule, train, supervise and review staff performance.
- Negotiate with suppliers and clients for food, catering and facility use.
- Handle customer complaints, manage events and enforce health‑ and safety regulations.
- Maintain inventory records and oversee food safety and handling procedures.
Required profile
- College or CEGEP diploma (1‑2 year program) related to hospitality or business.
- 1 to less than 2 years of experience in restaurant or food‑service management.
- Strong interpersonal, time‑management and leadership abilities.
- Fluency in English (French optional) to meet language requirements.
