About the role

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in acute care and emergency room settings.
• Utilise nursing processes, critical thinking, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Document care accurately in accordance with legislation, standards of practice and organizational policies.
• Participate in orientation, training and mentorship programs.

Required profile

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) registration in Alberta.
• Understanding and respect for Indigenous culture, history and health practices.
• Ability to work a rotating schedule that includes days, evenings, nights and weekends.
• Willingness to relocate to a remote community and adapt to local living conditions.
