Legal Specialist – Remote (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Legal Specialist to work remotely on a contract basis. You will provide expert legal analysis and guidance across a range of commercial and regulatory matters, helping our multidisciplinary teams navigate complex agreements and compliance requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and redline commercial contracts to ensure legal accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
• Provide expert input on employment law, structured finance, private equity, and M&A transactions.
• Evaluate SaaS Master Service Agreements (MSAs), identify risk areas, and recommend improvements.
• Interpret complex regulatory requirements and develop compliance guidelines.
• Assess data‑privacy policies against international standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to clarify legal concepts and deliver clear written feedback.

Required profile

• Active Bar membership in good standing.
• Proven experience practicing law with a strong track record in commercial contracts, employment law, and structured finance.
• Deep knowledge of private equity, M&A, and regulatory compliance.
• Hands‑on experience reviewing SaaS MSAs and data‑privacy matters.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating complex legal concepts for diverse audiences.
