Legal Advisor – Corporate, IP & Environmental Law

About the role

Join Soucy as a Legal Advisor and become a key player in strategic decision‑making across multiple legal domains. You will work on corporate, intellectual property, and environmental matters while collaborating with colleagues worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements such as supplier contracts and licenses.
• Prepare legal documentation for company affairs, including confidentiality agreements and legal opinions.
• Interpret statutes, regulations, and decrees to protect group interests and limit liability.
• Coordinate with external counsel and advise internal managers on legal issues.
• Ensure compliance with contracts, company policies, and applicable laws.
• Identify legal risks, propose solutions, and support business objectives.
• Contribute to the creation and implementation of procedures, policies, and standardized contracts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in law and membership in the Quebec Bar Association.
• Four to seven years of experience in business law.
• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
• Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, confidentiality, and integrity.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex legal concepts.
