Lawyer – Indigenous/Aboriginal Law

About the role

Miller Titerle + Company (MT+Co.) is seeking an experienced lawyer to join its Yellowknife office. You will use your expertise in Indigenous/Aboriginal law to support forward‑thinking businesses and Indigenous organisations that are driving social and environmental change.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel on Aboriginal/Indigenous law matters for a diverse client base.
• Advise on project development, environmental and regulatory issues affecting Indigenous communities.
• Collaborate with clients redefining business, governance and community impact.
• Support reconciliation, sustainability and justice initiatives through legal services.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience practising Aboriginal/Indigenous law.
• Experience with project development, environmental and regulatory law is highly valued.
• Strong client relationships or community connections are considered an asset.
• Alignment with the firm’s values of justice, sustainability and reconciliation.
