Laundry Attendant

About the role

The Laundry Attendant works within the Housekeeping Department of Hotel Arts, ensuring that guest room and banquet linens are cleaned, inspected, and ready for daily use. This position plays a key part in maintaining the high standards of linen quality and availability throughout the hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and process all guest room and banquet linens to meet daily par‑level requirements.
• Perform quality assurance checks on linen items, removing any that are damaged or unsuitable.
• Keep the laundry room organized, clean, and report any maintenance or cleanliness issues promptly.
• Assist with laundry deliveries as needed, including operating a 2‑ton truck when required.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or a related field; hotel or resort experience is a plus.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Flexible availability for weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence and experience driving a 2‑ton truck (required for occasional deliveries).
