Labourer – Production Operations

About the role

The Labourer will support daily manufacturing operations at Gerdau’s Bradley Steel Processors facility in Winnipeg. Reporting to the location supervisor, you will handle material movement, clean‑up, packaging and assist machine operators in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Move, load and unload materials and products manually (up to 40‑50 lb each).
• Sort, pack, crate and package materials for production.
• Assist machine operators on equipment such as dip tanks and cutters.
• Clean work areas and equipment, maintaining a safe and tidy environment.
• Follow all safety policies, wear required PPE and perform other duties as directed by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Team player with good attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate clearly.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to undergo a criminal background check.

Required skills

• Material handling and basic shop‑tool usage.
• Basic understanding of WHMIS and hazardous goods (preferred).
