Laboratory Analyst – Environmental Testing

About the role

Bureau Veritas Laboratories is seeking a Laboratory Analyst to join its environmental laboratory in Montreal on a 6‑month contract. The role involves supporting sample analysis, preparing complex samples, and ensuring high‑quality results in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide general support in the analysis of samples and perform complex sample preparation.
• Conduct analyses following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Meet quality control criteria for all reported data and troubleshoot analytical issues.
• Maintain equipment, adhere to deadlines, and use summary reports to plan work.
• Contribute to corrective action procedures and perform any related tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, microbiology or biology.
• Laboratory experience is a strong asset.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with good time‑management and communication skills.
• Dynamic, energetic, motivated with a positive outlook.
