Kitchen Manager – Restaurant Operations

About the role

The Kitchen Manager will lead the daily food preparation and service operations at Rockin' Robyn's Diner. You will ensure that all meals are produced to high quality standards while maintaining a safe, efficient, and customer‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Establish methods and work schedules to meet production targets.
• Requisition food and kitchen supplies and maintain accurate stock records.
• Supervise, coordinate, and train staff who prepare, portion, and assemble food.
• Hire food‑service personnel and oversee their performance.
• Ensure food quality and service meet established control standards.
• Prepare budgets, cost estimates, and financial reports.
• Address customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
• Supervise tray assembly, food trolley delivery, and working‑group activities.

Required profile

• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and handle physically demanding tasks.
