Kitchen Helper – Full‑time, Evening & Day Shifts

About the role

Local Pizza in Victoria is seeking a Kitchen Helper to join our restaurant team. This is a permanent, full‑time position offering evening, morning, day and weekend shifts. No prior experience is required – we will provide training for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Transport clean dishes, flatware and other service items to the serving areas and set tables for guests.
• Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs after service, ensuring a tidy dining environment.
• Store dishes in the designated storage area, maintaining organization and inventory.
• Portion and wrap foods according to menu specifications.
• Prepare, heat and finish simple food items, supporting the kitchen line.
• Collect and dispose of kitchen garbage and trash safely.
• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors to keep the kitchen and dining areas spotless.

Required profile

• Team player with a proactive attitude and initiative.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, mornings, days and weekends.
• Open to learning on the job; no previous experience needed.
