Food Service Supervisor (Restaurant)

About the role

The Food Service Supervisor leads the daily operations of a Tim Hortons outlet in Victoria, ensuring smooth service, quality food preparation, and a positive customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Establish methods to meet work schedules and create staff work rosters.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of 5‑10 food service staff members.
• Train employees on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Estimate ingredient and supply needs for meal preparation.
• Hire and onboard new food service staff.
• Maintain quality control standards for food and service.
• Prepare budgets and cost estimates for the outlet.
• Address customer complaints and concerns promptly.
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and waste.
• Prepare and submit operational reports.

Required profile

• 1 to less than 2 years of experience in food service supervision.
• Ability to manage a team of 5‑10 staff members in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong customer‑focus with excellent oral communication skills.
• Flexibility and teamwork orientation.
