Kitchen Helper – Full-time Permanent Position

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Kitchen Helper to join our team at Toro Bar & Bar in Victoria. This full‑time permanent position involves supporting the kitchen staff in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using dishwashers and by hand.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness by wiping work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, and floors, and by handling waste disposal.
• Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, and cupboards.
• Prepare food items by washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
• Handle and store cleaning products safely and follow safety protocols.

Required profile

• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment, including lifting heavy loads and standing for long periods.
• Reliability, teamwork, multitasking, initiative, and a positive attitude.
• Clear criminal record check as part of security and safety requirements.
