Junior Process Engineer

About the role

Vista Projects is seeking a Junior Process Engineer to support the design and delivery of energy industry projects from concept through completion. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to develop reliable, cost‑effective process solutions for a range of industrial applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop process designs for new projects or proposals, including specifications, calculations, drawings, models, and bills of material.
• Create process simulations, stream tables, PFD and P&ID drawings, and perform equipment, line, and pipeline hydraulic sizing.
• Conduct process studies, prepare design documentation, and participate in HAZOP and design review meetings.
• Review vendor and subcontractor quotations, drawings, and specifications for technical adequacy.
• Monitor project schedules, track engineering tasks, and ensure designs comply with codes, standards, and Vista’s Quality Management System.
• Support cost and budget control, change management, and, when required, stamp documentation with a professional engineering seal.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of progressive experience in facilities engineering and design within the energy sector.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to apply engineering techniques to solve technical challenges.
• Familiarity with industry codes, standards, and quality management processes.
