About the role
Scotiabank is seeking a motivated Junior Full Stack Developer to join its Payments technology team. You will work on modern banking applications, collaborating with designers, product owners, and backend engineers to deliver high‑quality solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive web applications using ReactJS.
- Build and support backend services and APIs with Node.js.
- Collaborate with Java‑based BaaS integration teams.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and deployment.
- Support Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand‑ups, and retrospectives.
Required profile
- 1–3 years of hands‑on software development experience (internships/co‑op accepted).
- Strong understanding of JavaScript and modern web development concepts.
- Ability to learn quickly, work in a fast‑paced environment, and contribute positively to team culture.
