Junior Designer – Hybrid (Winnipeg or Calgary)

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Designer with 1‑3 years of professional experience to join our employee‑owned creative agency. Working hybrid from Winnipeg or Calgary, you will help shape brand, campaign and digital projects while collaborating closely with strategists, developers and project managers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead concept development for brand identities, campaigns and digital experiences.
• Translate strategic briefs into cohesive visual systems.
• Design across print, web, social and experiential touchpoints.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure design quality and timely delivery.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of professional design experience.
• Degree or formal training in Graphic Design.
• Strong understanding of branding, positioning and marketing systems.
• Mastery of typography, hierarchy, colour and layout.
• High attention to detail and ability to balance creative ambition with real‑world constraints.
• Calm under pressure and collaborative by nature.

Required skills

• Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and XD.
• Figma.
• UX/UI and digital design experience.
• Familiarity with CMS platforms.
• Working knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.
• Understanding of accessibility standards.
• Print production expertise.
• Basic video editing.
