Java Software Developer – Digital Banking

About the role

We are looking for a Java Software Developer to join a purpose‑driven, high‑performing team delivering digital banking solutions. You will work on the authentication domain, building secure, scalable micro‑services using Java, Spring Boot and modern cloud technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high‑quality code for various banking projects.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and Technical Leads to shape technical direction.
• Provide code reviews and mentor peer developers.
• Plan milestones, execute software delivery and manage issue escalation.
• Write and run automated tests to improve code quality.
• Perform security scanning and apply best practices to resolve vulnerabilities.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience as a Java developer (Java 11 or 17 preferred).
• Experience building enterprise‑scale applications with Spring Boot.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
• Hands‑on knowledge of container orchestration (Cloud Foundry or Kubernetes).
• Understanding of application security protocols like OAuth2 and SSO.
• Experience with event‑stream processing (Kafka or Pub/Sub) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong grasp of REST API design, object‑oriented and functional programming concepts.
• Ability to work autonomously, research solutions, and share knowledge within an Agile team.
